The key to dieting: Reducing carbohydrates! A detailed guide on how to do it right.

One of the first methods that comes to mind for dieting is reducing carbohydrates. Many people know that cutting carbs leads to weight loss, but simply starving yourself or drastically reducing them without a plan can harm your health. Here’s a detailed guide on how to smartly manage carbohydrate intake to successfully lose weight and stay healthy.

Why does cutting carbs lead to weight loss?

Reducing carbohydrates is effective for weight loss because of the principle of energy metabolism in our bodies. Our bodies use carbohydrates first to get the energy needed for daily activities. If the ingested carbohydrates are not all used up, they are stored as glycogen in the liver and muscles. Once this storage is full, the remaining carbohydrates are converted into fat and stored throughout the body.

However, when you reduce your carbohydrate intake, your body starts looking for other energy sources to make up for the deficit. At this point, it begins to break down the fat already stored in your body for energy. This process leads to a reduction in body fat, which naturally results in weight loss. Additionally, carbohydrates have a property of attracting water, so reducing their intake can cause a temporary drop in body water, making it seem like you're losing more weight.

The difference between 'bad' carbohydrates and 'good' carbohydrates

Knowing that not all carbs are the same is the first step to smart carbohydrate management. Carbohydrates can be broadly divided into 'bad' and 'good' types.

'Bad' carbohydrates are refined carbohydrates that cause a rapid spike in blood sugar. This includes white rice, bread and noodles made from white flour, and sugary snacks, cakes, and drinks. These foods are quickly digested and absorbed, leading to a sharp rise in blood sugar, which promotes insulin secretion and rapid conversion of excess sugar into fat. The rapid rise and fall of blood sugar can also make you feel hungry sooner, leading to overeating.

On the other hand, 'good' carbohydrates are also known as complex carbohydrates and are foods that raise blood sugar slowly. Examples include brown rice, whole grains, oats, beans, vegetables, and fruits. They are rich in dietary fiber, which slows down digestion, keeps blood sugar stable, and helps you feel full for longer. They are also packed with essential nutrients like vitamins and minerals, which can be beneficial for supplementing a diet. For weight loss, it's crucial to minimize the intake of 'bad' carbs and replace them with 'good' ones.

Practical tips for successful carbohydrate management

Here are some specific ways to practice reducing carbohydrates. By learning how to eat smartly instead of just starving yourself, you can lose weight healthily without the yo-yo effect.

  1. Switch from white rice to mixed-grain rice Changing your daily staple, rice, is the most effective step. While white rice is a typical 'bad' carbohydrate that raises blood sugar quickly, mixed-grain rice with brown rice, barley, beans, millet, and sorghum is rich in fiber, digests slowly, and provides a lasting feeling of fullness. If it's hard to adjust initially, you can gradually increase the ratio of mixed grains, starting with 7:3 or 5:5 with white rice.
  2. Reduce consumption of flour-based foods Many of the breads, noodles, and snacks we eat daily are made from flour. While they taste good, they are the enemy of dieting. It's especially common to eat bread or noodles as a meal substitute, so you need to make a conscious effort to reduce them and replace them with healthier options. Choosing whole-grain bread or whole-wheat pasta can be a good alternative if you're hungry.
  3. Increase protein and vegetable intake When you reduce your carbohydrate intake, your body can feel hungry more easily. At this point, you should increase your protein and vegetable intake to feel full. Protein-rich foods like chicken breast, fish, tofu, and legumes help maintain muscle mass, while salads and various vegetables provide fiber, vitamins, and minerals that aid in metabolism.
  4. Switch to healthier snacks Snacks like cookies, chocolate, and sugary drinks, which you might eat without thinking, are the main culprits sabotaging your diet. Instead, switch to healthier snacks like nuts, cherry tomatoes, plain yogurt, or eggs. This will prevent unnecessary calorie intake and ensure you're getting nutrients.

Important considerations for a carbohydrate-reducing diet

While reducing carbohydrates is an effective dieting method, overdoing it can harm your health. Here are some important precautions to keep in mind for a healthy diet.

  1. Avoid extreme carbohydrate restriction Extremely low-carb, high-fat diets have gained popularity, but they can be harmful in the long run. If your body lacks carbohydrates, its primary energy source, you may experience side effects like poor concentration, lethargy, and headaches due to a lack of glucose for brain function. Extreme diets also have a high probability of leading to the yo-yo effect. It's best to maintain a moderate amount and focus on 'good' carbohydrates.
  2. Always combine with exercise While you can lose weight through diet alone, the effects are much greater when combined with exercise. Aerobic exercise is effective at burning body fat, and strength training boosts your basal metabolism, making it harder to gain weight. By managing your carb intake and exercising consistently, you can build a healthy body with less body fat and more muscle mass.
  3. Sufficient hydration is essential Since reducing carbohydrate intake can also decrease your body's water content, you should drink more water than usual. Sufficient hydration helps smooth metabolism and flush out waste, enhancing the effect of your diet. It's good to get into the habit of drinking about 1.5 to 2 liters of water a day.
  4. Adjust based on your activity level and health condition Generally, it's recommended that carbohydrates make up 45-65% of your total daily calorie intake, but this is just a general guideline. It should be adjusted based on your personal activity level and health condition. For example, people with high activity levels like athletes may need more carbohydrates. It's a good idea to plan a diet that suits you and, if necessary, consult with a professional for guidance.

Additional explanations related to carbohydrates

Glycemic Index (GI)

This index indicates how quickly the carbohydrates in a food raise blood sugar. The higher the GI, the faster the blood sugar rises. White rice, white bread, and sugar are typical high-GI foods. In contrast, brown rice, whole grains, and vegetables have a low GI, making them more suitable for dieting.

The importance of protein

When you reduce your carbohydrate intake, your body might start using protein stored in your muscles for energy. This can lead to a loss of muscle mass and a lower basal metabolic rate. To prevent this, it's crucial to increase your protein intake as you decrease your carbs. Protein also helps you feel full for longer, which can suppress your appetite.

Dietary fiber

Dietary fiber is a type of carbohydrate that is not digested and passes through to the gut. It increases the feeling of fullness and prevents a rapid rise in blood sugar. It also promotes regular bowel movements and helps prevent constipation, making it an essential nutrient to include in your diet. It is abundant in fruits, vegetables, seaweed, and whole grains.

On your way to work during the rainy season, are you done worrying about wet shoes? Everything on the shoe cover you don't know.

During the rainy season, many office workers suffer from rain-soaked shoes and socks. Especially for men who need to wear suits, the options are even narrower. You can be wary of wearing sandals or boots, and you are worried that your precious shoes will be damaged by rainwater. As an item to solve these problems, sneaker silicone covers are attracting attention recently. Could this shoe cover be a really practical solution?
The reason why I'm no longer afraid of going to work in the rain.
Many office workers envy young women wearing pretty boots or sandals on rainy days. Especially for men who need to dress up in suits, choosing shoes on rainy days is not difficult. Shoes are likely to get wet with rainwater and dampen socks, and it is also cumbersome to carry shoes separately.

But now there are items that can relieve these concerns. It's the shoe cover. The shoe cover is a form of overlaying over the shoes that were previously worn, effectively preventing the shoes from getting wet. In particular, sneaker silicone covers are popular with many people because they are light and easy to carry.

Silicone shoe cover, when I used it myself
Silicone shoe covers are easily available at Internet shopping malls. The advantage is that the price is low, so you can purchase it without much burden. Most of the covers are in the shape of sneakers, but they are not very awkward even if they are put on the shoes. Rather, it goes well with formal attire and becomes an unexpected fashion item.

This cover covers the entire shoe without any room for rainwater to seep in, so you don't have to worry about getting your shoes and socks wet even on rainy days. In particular, even old shoes with cracked soles and watering in can be worn like new shoes with just a cover, which is economical. However, there are a few points to note.

First, be careful not to slip. Due to the nature of the silicone material, it can be slippery on wet marble floors or subway station floors. Therefore, you should be especially careful when walking up and down stairs or on wet floors.

Second, it is poorly ventilated. Because silicone seals the entire shoe, it can feel a bit stuffy in the summer months when you sweat a lot. It is good to use it with this in mind.

Silicone shoe cover, what size is suitable for me?
When purchasing silicone shoe covers, choosing a size is very important. In general, the L (large) size is suitable for shoes of 255 mm or more, and the XL (X-large) size is suitable for shoes of 275 mm or more. If you choose a size that is too small, it will not be easily covered on your shoes and will be torn, and if you choose a size that is too large, it may come off while walking. Therefore, you should choose the correct size for the shoe size you wear.

Shoes are worried during the rainy season, and now silicone covers are used to solve them.
You can stop worrying about wet shoes on your way to work during the rainy season. Silicone shoe covers can be a great alternative to protecting shoes at low prices and creating a pleasant way to work. Although there are disadvantages such as slipperiness and ventilation problems, it is enough to bear compared to the unpleasantness of rain-soaked shoes and socks.

If you purchase sneaker silicone covers, especially large sizes, you can use them without any problems with most men's shoes. Now, even on rainy days, you can go to work confidently.

With the growing elderly population, why are opportunities focused solely on retirement savings?

With the growing elderly population, why are opportunities focused solely on retirement savings?

The number of active seniors, the most vibrant senior generation, is on the rise.

Active seniors, who actively participate in social activities and spend, are emerging as a new consumer group, not just the elderly population. Some predict that Korea's senior industry market will more than double by 2030.

Despite this, why do so many seniors focus solely on securing retirement funds, and why do government policies seem to focus solely on supporting the poor?

"Active Seniors": Potential Opportunities for Seniors

Active seniors differ from older generations of the past.

Even after retirement, they actively engage in hobbies, self-improvement, and social activities, and they spare no expense in spending on themselves.

With larger assets and a higher propensity to spend than previous generations, they represent a valuable customer base that companies cannot afford to miss.

Senior-tailored businesses are already actively emerging across various sectors.

For example, Age-Tech, which utilizes the latest technology, is contributing to improving the quality of life for the elderly.

A variety of products and services are emerging, ranging from wearable devices that promote physical activity, smart devices that prevent dementia, and smart home care that creates a convenient living environment. Furthermore, new opportunities are emerging in various industries, including travel, fashion, and health foods, for seniors.

Reasons for Focusing on Retirement Savings and the Dilemma of Government Policy

Despite the emergence of new business opportunities for the senior generation, retirement savings remains a significant challenge. This is due to the following reasons:

First, the asset structure is heavily concentrated in real estate.

Many seniors possess fixed assets, such as their homes, but often lack readily available cash assets.

The phrase "house rich, cash poor" epitomizes this.

Consequently, they are often forced to consider ways to liquidate their real estate holdings or continue to seek employment after retirement.

Second, the issue of unstable retirement income is a problem.

Many people feel that the National Pension or retirement pension alone is not enough to lead a comfortable life in retirement.

Medical expenses, which account for a significant portion of retirement expenses, are difficult to predict, leading to pressure to secure more funds.

This reality also influences government policy.

The government has no choice but to prioritize addressing the growing number of elderly people living in poverty due to rapid population aging.

Faced with the fact that the elderly poverty rate is the highest among OECD countries, the government is focusing on welfare policies such as expanding the basic pension and the basic livelihood security system.

While this is an inevitable choice to address the pressing issue of poverty, it also hinders the full utilization of the diverse potential of the senior generation.

The Opportunities Seniors Really Need

Ultimately, the opportunities of seniors go beyond simply "earning money"; they lie in leveraging their diverse experiences and skills in society.

Rather than focusing solely on saving for retirement, there should be more opportunities for seniors to utilize their capabilities to contribute to society and find fulfillment.

The government should expand policies to support the elderly in poverty, as well as those nearing retirement, in planning their second lives.

For example,

This could involve helping seniors leverage their experience and knowledge to start businesses or re-enter the workforce, and creating platforms for them to fulfill social roles, such as volunteering or mentoring, in their communities.

Companies should also value the experiences of seniors, not just as consumers, but also by offering flexible work environments and retraining programs for senior employees.

Helping seniors lead vibrant and meaningful lives after retirement is not an individual issue; it is a critical task for the sustainable development of society as a whole.

This is not simply a policy for older people; it is a path to creating a society where all generations can thrive together.

Active Seniors

Active seniors refer to the pre- and post-retirement generation, typically in their 50s to early 60s.

Unlike older adults, these seniors are healthy and financially well-off, actively engaging in various activities, including self-development, hobbies, and leisure activities.

They are attracting attention as a new generation that is not simply consumers but takes charge of their own lives.

Age-Tech

This refers to all products and services that utilize cutting-edge technologies, such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and wearable devices, to improve the quality of life for seniors in an aging society.

For example, smart healthcare devices that monitor the health of seniors in real time and detect emergencies, or robots that assist seniors with mobility difficulties, are representative examples of Age-Tech.

Elderly Poverty Rate

This refers to the percentage of elderly people in a society whose income is below 50% of the median income.

Korea has the highest elderly poverty rate among OECD countries, indicating that many seniors are experiencing financial difficulties. Consequently, the government is investing significant resources in welfare for the elderly.

A Special Counsel's Investigation: Analyzing the Legal and Political Implications of Former President Yoon Seok-yeol's Underwear-Clad Refusal

A Special Counsel's Investigation: Analyzing the Legal and Political Implications of Former President Yoon Seok-yeol's Underwear-Clad Refusal

Understanding the Current Situation

News that former President Yoon Seok-yeol refused to cooperate with a special counsel team's investigation, reportedly by refusing to wear prison clothes and lying on the floor in his underwear, has sparked widespread controversy.

This situation goes beyond a simple refusal to cooperate with an investigation, raising complex questions about the rule of law, the rights of the accused, and public accountability. A deep analysis is needed to understand the legal implications and social interpretations of his actions.

Legal and Social Implications of the Actions

Former President Yoon Seok-yeol's refusal to cooperate can be viewed from several angles. From a legal standpoint, a suspect has the right to remain silent, which is a right guaranteed by the Constitution to protect individuals from coerced statements. However, an arrest warrant issued by the special counsel's team aims to secure the suspect and forcibly bring them to the investigative authority. A suspect's physical resistance during this process can be interpreted as obstructing the legitimate performance of official duties.

Specifically, the refusal to wear prison clothes and the act of lying on the floor in his underwear raise issues regarding discipline and order within the detention center. Wearing prison clothes is not merely a matter of attire but a form of acknowledging one's status as an inmate and adhering to the rules of a specific space like a detention center. Refusing to follow these rules can be seen as non-compliance with the legal process itself.

From a social perspective, these actions could become a major factor in inciting public outrage. The sight of a former prosecutor general and president, who was once the highest authority in law enforcement, defying legal procedures can appear to shake the very foundation of the rule of law. It is difficult for him to avoid criticism of double standards when his actions are compared to his past rhetoric emphasizing "law and principle."

This behavior could not only be seen as non-cooperation with an investigation but also as an act that undermines trust in the judicial system itself. While the rights of the accused must be respected, public expectations for the strictness and fairness of the law are also very important in a country based on the rule of law.

From a political perspective, this incident could intensify the debate over the legitimacy and necessity of the special counsel investigation. Some argue that his refusal was unavoidable due to health issues, while others view it as a deliberate act to obstruct the investigation. Amid this controversy, the special counsel team has announced that they will enforce the warrant, including the use of physical force, demonstrating their strong will to proceed with the investigation.

In conclusion, former President Yoon Seok-yeol's refusal to cooperate is a complex issue that goes beyond a simple exercise of a suspect's rights. It can be interpreted as a challenge to the legal process and system, sparking a social debate about the rule of law and public accountability. This incident raises an important question about how our society should balance individual rights and the strictness of the law.

The Meaning and Limits of a Suspect's Right to Remain Silent

The right to remain silent is an important right stipulated in Article 283-2 of the Criminal Procedure Act. It means that a defendant or suspect has the right not to be forced into making a statement that is disadvantageous to them. Therefore, a suspect can refuse to answer questions during an investigation or make a statement at a time of their choosing. This right is a fundamental principle of democracy, introduced to prevent the past wrongful practice of violating human rights by coercing confessions.

However, this right does not justify everything. The right to remain silent is a right concerning statements made during the investigation process and is different from a refusal to comply with a lawful arrest warrant. An arrest warrant is issued by a court and has legal force. A suspect's physical resistance to the execution of an arrest warrant can constitute obstruction of official duties and be considered an act that goes beyond the scope of the right to remain silent.

Execution of an Arrest Warrant and the Use of Physical Force

An arrest warrant is issued when a suspect fails to appear for a summons without a legitimate reason. It is a legal means to secure a suspect for an investigation. Article 200-3 of the Criminal Procedure Act stipulates that the minimum necessary physical force can be used for the execution of a warrant.

In this case, when former President Yoon refused to cooperate, the special counsel team obtained and attempted to execute an arrest warrant from the court. However, after the execution was thwarted by Yoon's resistance, the special counsel team expressed their determination to execute the warrant using physical force if necessary. This shows a strong will to proceed with the investigation according to legal procedures and suggests that physical force may have to be used if the suspect's resistance continues.

Rules within the Detention Center and the Wearing of Prison Clothes

Detention centers are operated according to the "Act on the Execution of Sentences and Treatment of Inmates," which is a Ministry of Justice directive. According to this law, inmates must follow the rules set by the detention center, one of which is the wearing of prison clothes. Prison clothes are attire meant to clarify the status of an inmate and maintain order within the detention center.

Generally, an inmate may temporarily refuse to wear prison clothes for health or religious reasons, but persistently refusing without a legitimate reason can be considered a violation of detention center rules. Former President Yoon's actions could be interpreted as non-compliance with these rules, which can be seen as a refusal to cooperate with the public system rather than a simple act of personal resistance.

The Path to Sportsmanship and Mature Democracy

Just as in any sport, true sportsmanship means acknowledging and encouraging each other's efforts after the game, regardless of the outcome. The second and third-place finishers deserve just as much praise as the winner, as they have worked just as hard.

The same principle applies to the recent presidential election. We should approach the results with wisdom and maturity, rather than with excessive emotion. When we become overly attached to our side and see the opposition as the enemy, it only leads to unnecessary emotional exhaustion and conflict. It's the mark of a civilized person to maintain dignity and courtesy.

Reflections on the Election Results

This morning, I saw a few ultraconservative colleagues making others uncomfortable, saying things like, "Keep your expression under control," or "Don't show you're too happy." This behavior seems to forget what happened three years ago when former President Yoon Seok-yeol won. I remember many people lamenting, "How can the public be so foolish?" while watching his inauguration.

Conversely, many are likely feeling a sense of dread and loss of appetite while watching President Lee Jae-myung's inauguration. However, there's no need for excessive worry. The Korean people would not hesitate to overthrow anyone who tries to turn this country into a communist state, just as they confronted the martial law forces in the past. And it’s important to understand that Lee Jae-myung is not that kind of person. Communism is an ideology that has never succeeded anywhere, and it's practically impossible to implement. Just as the public stood up against Yoon Seok-yeol when he tried to become a dictator, there are no longer foolish citizens who would believe such nonsense about a communist state.

Disappointment and Hope from the Last Election

After a fight in the ring, it's a sign of sportsmanship for the competitors to comfort and encourage each other, win or lose. The same goes for any sport. It's only polite to give praise to each other's efforts after the game ends. The people who came in second or third place worked just as hard and prepared just as much as the first-place finisher.

So, it would be a wise choice for the public to not look at the political results of yesterday's presidential election with so much emotion. Thinking that the result is so disappointing and unfair is the result of excessive attachment. Ultimately, viewing the opposition as an enemy leads to these kinds of strange emotions. Maintaining courtesy and dignity is the right attitude for civilized people.

I saw some ultraconservative colleagues this morning trying to provoke people by saying, "Keep your expression in check," or "Don't look too happy." They seem to have forgotten what happened three years ago when Yoon Seok-yeol won. I recall watching his inauguration and wondering how the people could be so foolish.

I imagine many are feeling down and losing their appetite watching President Lee Jae-myung's inauguration. But there is no need to worry. The people will take down anyone who tries to make South Korea a communist country, just as they stood against martial law forces. And I hope they realize that Lee Jae-myung is not that kind of person.

Communism is not something anyone can do. It's an ideology that has never succeeded in any country. If the people stopped Yoon Seok-yeol from becoming a dictator, there are no longer any citizens foolish enough to believe such nonsense about a communist state.

I want to ask the people who liked Yoon Seok-yeol when he became president if they didn't know he was the kind of person who would make a mess of both the Democratic Party and the People Power Party. I remember sighing when I saw people who were happy he won. I was resentful of the people for making such a person president.

As expected, he did the foolish thing of declaring martial law himself and pointed his gun at the people. The martial law was lifted, and he was impeached from the presidency. I hope they realize the shock the people felt at that time. You were wrong. It was proven that Yoon Seok-yeol was not the right person. If you say he's not guilty because he wasn't convicted of sedition, you're a fool. The verdict is about whether he's the real culprit, but the fact that he started a rebellion with emergency martial law hasn't changed.

However, I was disappointed in the people again after seeing the results of the second presidential election. It was a given that Lee Jae-myung would become president; the only question was the margin of victory. I thought the people had come to their senses this time. But the results show they have a long way to go. The Gyeongsang and Gangwon provinces sided with the rebels again. It's hard to believe how ignorant and foolish they can be.

I was very disappointed with the adults in their 60s and 70s and the people in their 20s who were fooled by lies again and again. I don't know when they'll stop fighting by dividing themselves into Silla and Baekje. Maybe we should call it the Three Kingdoms period if we include North Korea. There is no reason, they just want to win and lose in a war.

It means that even though Lee Jae-myung is from Andong, they didn't vote for him because he belongs to the Democratic Party.

However, the Democratic Party's goal was a stable victory rather than an overwhelming one. An 8% difference is a stable victory. While some Democratic Party supporters wanted an overwhelming victory to silence the People Power Party supporters, wise politicians seem to have thought that a stable victory was enough.

This difference is like the sportsmanship I mentioned at the beginning. It's the difference between a person who wants to crush the opposition and a person who wants to win and do things properly. It seems clear that Lee Jae-myung will be a wise president.

He will likely handle all matters accurately and firmly while upholding the law and being respectful.

2025-05-27

I can see the catastrophe that the presidential election unification issue will bring.

The remnants of the rebellion, without shame, have put forward a presidential candidate and are now uniting to win. The People Power Party is acting as if it has no idea what the December 3rd martial law meant. The public is not foolish; how many times have they seized power through martial law and now they claim it wasn't a rebellion? That's why they are called the remnants of the rebellion.

Today, I often witness the coincidence of vehicles belonging to the Liberty Unification Party parked near the People Power Party's campaign rallies. It is more likely that Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon ordered this rather than members of the Liberty Unification Party, whose candidate has withdrawn, voluntarily chartering buses to support a candidate from another party. It's not a violation of the Public Official Election Act for members of the Liberty Unification Party to flock to a campaign rally, so nothing can be said about it.

However, if someone is orchestrating this, then they are pathetic. A local rally should be attended by local people; if outsiders are mobilized, it shows a pathetic organization and pathetic approval ratings. The use of such a trick is already proof that they are losing. And it's certain that they will continue to lose in the future.

The outcome of the election is already decided. Do we have to taste it to know if it's poop or fermented bean paste?

Early voting will begin soon. We will elect a new president on June 3rd. While one side is calling for the eradication of the rebellion's remnants and arguing that we must properly build a new Korea this time, the other side is just opposing for the sake of opposition, claiming that if this person becomes president, he will be more powerful than Yoon Seok-yeol, so he shouldn't be elected. It is ridiculous to hear this from the party that created Yoon Seok-yeol. Amidst all this, they are even having a family feud. They are arguing that they must unify to win an election they can't win anyway, and each is insisting on a unification centered around themselves. I hope for a dramatic resolution, but the vote difference is too large to matter.

I'm watching this election, thinking, "How can such a pathetic party be the second largest party?"

They are trying to get the public's choice with a needless unification issue, but what can be done when the candidates have no will to unify? It's a truly pitiable situation. The nonsensical unification and this chaotic show, all fueled by the vain dream of maybe being able to win, is a scene I've never witnessed in my life.

Finally, on Friday, April 4th, the Constitutional Court, which had been delaying a simple impeachment ruling for Yoon Seok-yeol, announced that it would finally deliver its verdict. The public is already angry.

On Friday, April 4, 2025, the Constitutional Court, which had been delaying a simple impeachment ruling for Yoon Seok-yeol for over a month, announced that it would finally deliver its verdict.

The public is very angry because the Constitutional Court, which was expected to easily approve Yoon Seok-yeol's impeachment with an 8-0 vote, has been dragging its feet for more than a month.

The People Power Party, the remnants of the rebellion, believes that Yoon Seok-yeol will return and guarantees that the impeachment will be dismissed, urging the Democratic Party to declare that it will accept the Constitutional Court's ruling.

The People Power Party seems to know one thing but not the other. Even if the Democratic Party accepts the ruling, the public will not accept it if the impeachment is dismissed. They seem to be mistaken about something.

Conversely, if the impeachment is approved and Yoon Seok-yeol is removed from office, the People Power Party will accept it, but their elderly supporters will not remain quiet. You can know this by thinking about it. However, less than 30% support Yoon's return, while over 70% support his removal.

In either case, it will not be easy to respond with police force. Tear gas is likely to reappear, and water cannons will also be used. This is because I have witnessed water cannon vehicles on the road near Seoul City Hall multiple times during Jeon Kwang-hoon's rallies, so I know they are always on standby. They were new water cannon vehicles, which look like riot control vehicles.

Former lawmaker Jang Je-won, who was accused of sexually assaulting his secretary, took his own life after leaving a suicide note. I think he was someone who still knew shame. If he had brazenly held out, he wouldn't have died. It seems he couldn't overcome the embarrassment. However, choosing suicide was a mistake.

People hate the sin, but they don't hate the person. I don't know why he didn't know that. I think men become weak as they get older. It's surprising that Jang Je-won, who was known as a Yoon supporter, knew shame.

Yoon Seok-yeol also seems to be a person who doesn't know shame. He thinks he can cover the sky with his palm, so he would never know shame.

The public is feeling ashamed on behalf of Yoon Seok-yeol. I don't know what kind of international disgrace this is. It's frustrating to see him so cowardly and despicable, first declaring a state of emergency when there was no emergency and then calling it just a warning. But now he is burning with ambition to return through the Constitutional Court's ruling, and the Constitutional Court has wavered.

It has been confirmed that there are forces hiding everywhere, either supporting Yoon Seok-yeol's powerful prosecutorial organization to gain something or to avoid losses.

So, we can't let our guard down.

Unstable Far-Right and the Delayed Constitutional Court Impeachment Ruling

Unstable Far-Right and the Delayed Constitutional Court Impeachment Ruling

70% of the public is clamoring, "Why isn't the Constitutional Court impeaching him?" They can't understand why a decision with clear evidence would take so long, and they see the potential for more harm if he returns, so they wonder why the judges can't make a decision. The far-right, on the other hand, believes that the Constitutional Court can't make a decision and is delaying it because he will not be removed from office. So, both sides are waiting anxiously.

For people like the "Taegeukgi grandpas," who can't control their emotions, they might even attempt self-immolation out of frustration. It seems that the elderly, due to their fragile health, also suffer from mental health issues. I'm worried about how many people will commit suicide out of anger once the verdict is announced. When people get too immersed in something, it seems to be human weakness to make dangerous decisions.

In the end, the Constitutional Court is tormenting the entire nation, frustrating and angering the public, and is receiving all the hatred. It seems like there will be public opinion to abolish the Constitutional Court in the future.

We should abolish it through a constitutional amendment, but a constitutional amendment is not easy, so it's a difficult situation.

Today, downtown Seoul is divided into pro-impeachment and anti-impeachment groups, holding large-scale rallies.

The pro-impeachment rallies are "Candlelight Action" at 3 PM at Anguk Station, and "Emergency Action" at 5 PM in Gwanghwamun.

The anti-impeachment rallies are the "Liberty Unification Party" with Jeon Kwang-hoon at 1 PM on Sejong-daero in front of the Dongwha Duty-Free Shop in Gwanghwamun, and "Saber Korea" (Sohn Hyeon-bo, Jeon Han-gil) in Yeouido.

The anxious public is taking to the streets to express their will through rallies. Since there is no national referendum, they want to express themselves this way. And they are telling the Constitutional Court to carefully consider the will of the people.

The Yoon Seok-yeol Impeachment Trial: A Torture of Hope, Deep Sighs and Anxiety of the People

The Yoon Seok-yeol Impeachment Trial: A Torture of Hope, Deep Sighs and Anxiety of the People

A trial must be fair.

A Trial Must Be Fair

The never-ending wait, the people are black with frustration: When will the Constitutional Court's impeachment trial of President Yoon Seok-yeol ever end? We are utterly exhausted.

Turning on the news and browsing online articles every morning, wondering if a decision will be announced today, has become a torment. The public is reaching its limit with anxiety and fatigue in this endless waiting. We are all desperately hoping for a swift and satisfying result.

'What If' Becomes Reality? The Political Scene Shudders in Anxiety, While the Far-Right Holds Onto Hope:

As rumors of a 'what if' scenario, where the impeachment could be dismissed, circulate, the political scene is in turmoil. The ruling and opposition parties are trembling in anxiety, each with their own calculations. On the other hand, the far-right is raising their voices, holding onto hope for President Yoon's return. In the midst of all this, the public is once again divided, exchanging sharp words, a truly lamentable reality.

The Battle Between Common Sense and 'What If,' The Ugly Truth of Our Confused Society:

As the possibility of a 'what if' scenario, completely different from the common sense we have believed in, raises its head, our society has fallen into chaos. Our faith in the law is wavering, and it's hard to tell who is speaking the truth. I'm worried about where our society is heading. Fake news and misinformation are rampant, and people are increasingly listening to extreme claims.

The Constitutional Court's Deliberations, The Future of All of Us Depends on It:

How difficult must it be for the judges of the Constitutional Court? They have to make a swift decision, but at the same time, they bear an immense social responsibility. Please do not forget that the future of all of us depends on their decision. Every one of their careful judgments can sway the future of the Republic of Korea.

The Crisis of the Rule of Law, We Must All Protect It Together:

This Constitutional Court decision is not just a political ruling. It is a critical issue that could shake the very foundation of the rule of law in our country. This is a time for all of us to watch with interest. If the rule of law collapses, our society is bound to be engulfed in chaos and anxiety.

Our Shared Wish, We Want to Believe Again:

The people are desperately hoping that the Constitutional Court will make a swift and clear judgment. We hope they will strive to restore lost trust and help our society become stable once again. We all want to believe again. We desperately hope that the Constitutional Court will make a wise decision so that our society can once again have hope.
